حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ اسْتَغْفَرَ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ، ثُمَّ (١) يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَتُبْ، ، عَلَيَّ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ، (١) أَوْ إِنَّكَ تَوَّابٌ غَفُورٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ), and I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) seeking forgiveness one hundred times. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said: « اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ أَوْ إِنَّكَ تَوَّابٌ غَفُورٌ » "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, turn towards me. Indeed, You are the Most Accepting of Repentance, Most Merciful, or Most Forgiving."
