Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، (٣) أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ (٤) بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبَّقَ بِالْخَيْلِ وَرَاهَنَ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) held a horse race and set a specific place and stipulated a condition.
