Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man stood in the Prophet’s Mosque and asked the Prophet (ﷺ), “O Messenger of Allah! From where do you command us to enter into Ihram?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “For the people of Madinah, it is Dhu’l-Hulayfah; for the people of Sham, it is Juhfah; and for the people of Najd, it is Qarn.” Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that later people also said that the Miqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam, but I do not remember this.
