قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، أَنَّهُ تُصِيبُهُ جَنَابَةٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " تَوَضَّأْ وَاغْسِلْ ذَكَرَكَ، ثُمَّ نَمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (ﷺ) that sometimes during the night, ghusl becomes obligatory upon him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: Perform wudu, wash your private parts, and then go to sleep.
