Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that regarding which clothes a Muhrim (person in the state of Ihram) can wear, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not wear a shirt, trousers, cap, turban, or leather socks, except if shoes are not available. Whoever does not find shoes should cut the leather socks below the ankles and wear them. Likewise, do not wear any garment that has been dyed with wars (a type of grass) or saffron.
