حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ تَلَقِّي السِّلَعِ حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا الْأَسْوَاقُ، وَنَهَى عَنِ النَّجْشِ وَقَالَ: " لَا يَبِيعُ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade meeting traders before their goods reach the market, and from deceptive sales, and that none of you should sell over the sale of his brother.
