حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ، ، رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ، (١) وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform two rak‘ahs before the Zuhr prayer and two rak‘ahs after it, and also two rak‘ahs in his house after Maghrib, and two rak‘ahs after ‘Isha, and two rak‘ahs in his house after Jumu‘ah.
