Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يُعْرَضُ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ مَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ غُدْوَةً وَعَشِيَّةً فِي قَبْرِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Morning and evening, the abode of the son of Adam is presented to him in the grave; if he is among the people of Paradise, then the abode of the people of Paradise is shown to him, and if he is among the people of Hell, then the abode of the people of Hell is shown to him."
