حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ فِي الْحَيْضِ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا، ثُمَّ لِيُطَلِّقْهَا، وَهِيَ طَاهِرٌ أَوْ حَامِلٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) gave his wife one divorce while she was in her menstrual period. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about this issue, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Tell him to take his wife back, then after she becomes pure, he may divorce her, or if she is in a state of pregnancy, he may also divorce her.
