حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ النَّجْرَانِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِسَكْرَانَ فَضَرَبَهُ الْحَدَّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " مَا شَرَابُكَ؟ " فَقَالَ: زَبِيبٌ وَتَمْرٌ، فَقَالَ: " لَا تَخْلِطْهُمَا (٢) يَكْفِي كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مِنْ صَاحِبِهِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once a man who was intoxicated was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ). He admitted to drinking wine made from raisins and dates. The Prophet (ﷺ) prescribed the hadd punishment for him and forbade combining the two, because each of them suffices in place of the other.
