حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَجَلِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا، فَذَكَرَ " (١) أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) went out of his house on the day of Eid. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not offer any voluntary prayer before or after the Eid prayer, and he explained that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also did the same.
