حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَأَلَ عُمَرُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: تُصِيبُنِي الْجَنَابَةُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ؟ " فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ ذَكَرَهُ وَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ (٣) " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (ﷺ) that I become junub (in a state of major ritual impurity) at night. The Prophet (ﷺ) instructed him to wash his private parts and perform ablution.
