قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَامَ رَجُلٌ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُهِلَّ؟ قَالَ: " مُهَلُّ (١) أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ " قَالَ لِي نَافِعٌ: وَقَالَ لِي (٢) ابْنُ عُمَرَ: وَزَعَمُوا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " وَمُهَلُّ (٣) أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ " وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: لَا أَذْكُرُ ذَلِكَ (٤)، ، °
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man stood in the Prophet’s Mosque and asked the Prophet (ﷺ), “O Messenger of Allah! From where do you command us to enter into Ihram?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “For the people of Madinah, it is Dhu’l-Hulayfah; for the people of Sham, it is Juhfah; and for the people of Najd, it is Qarn (al-Manazil).” Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that later people also said that the Miqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam, but I do not remember this.
