Original Arabic
قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ، فَقَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ " (١)، °
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade the sale of fruits before they ripen.
