حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَبَهْزٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَنْتَمَةِ "، قُلْتُ لَهُ: مَا الْحَنْتَمَةُ قَالَ: الْجَرَّةُ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade «حنتمه», someone asked: What is that thing? He replied: "It is the jug that is used for nabidh (or for distilling wine)."
