حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ: "، ، لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أَنْهَى عَنْهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the lizard. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."
