حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَبْدَءُونَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدِ " (٤)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) and the two Shaykhs (may Allah be pleased with them) used to lead the prayer before the sermon on the occasion of Eid.
