English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No person should prevent his family members from coming to the mosque." Upon hearing this, one of the sons of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "We will prevent them." Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "I am narrating to you the hadith of the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ), and you are saying this?" After that, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did not speak to him until his last breath.
