Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَشْرَبُهَا لَمْ يَتُبْ مِنْهَا، حَرَّمَهَا اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever drinks alcohol in this world and does not repent from it, he will be deprived of it in the Hereafter and will not be given alcohol there."
