Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) entered Makkah on the day of the conquest riding on the camel of Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him). When he reached the courtyard of the Ka'bah, he made the camel sit down and asked Uthman bin Talhah for the key. He brought the key and opened the door, so the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) entered the House of Allah. At that time, Usama bin Zaid, Uthman bin Talhah, and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them) were with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). At the command of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) closed the door, and they remained inside for as long as Allah willed. Then the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came out. The first person I met was Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and I asked him where the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had prayed. He replied, "Between the two front pillars." But I forgot to ask him how many rak'ahs the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had prayed.
