حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْبَرَّادِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ ". فَسُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا الْقِيرَاطُ؟ قَالَ: " مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever accompanies a funeral and offers the funeral prayer will receive a reward equal to one qirat." Someone asked the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), "What is a qirat?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "It is equal to the mountain of Uhud."
