Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) allowed the people of Khaybar to remain in their land in exchange for half of the produce, and this arrangement continued throughout the entire blessed life of the Prophet (ﷺ), and it remained the same during the life of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and it also remained the same during the life of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). On one occasion, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) sent me to Khaybar so that I could distribute their shares, so the Jews of that place performed magic on me and the joint of the bone in my hand became dislocated. After that, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) took Khaybar away from them.
