حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ الطَّوَافَ، ، الْأَوَّلَ خَبَّ ثَلَاثَةً، وَمَشَى أَرْبَعَةً " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to walk briskly (raml) in the first three circuits of Tawaf and walk at a normal pace in the remaining four circuits.
