حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُسْأَلُ عَنِ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ بِالْفَلَاةِ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ شَيْءٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once someone asked the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) about this issue: If a person finds water in the wilderness where animals and beasts also come, can he perform ablution with it? I heard that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "When the water reaches the amount of two pitchers, impurity does not affect it."
