Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُصْمٍ، وَقَالَ إِسْرَائِيلُ: ابْنِ عِصْمَةَ، قَالَ: وَكِيعٌ هُوَ: ابْنُ عُصْمٍ،، ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ فِي ثَقِيفَ مُبِيرًا وَكَذَّابًا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "In the tribe of Thaqif there will be a destructive person and a liar."
