حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ: عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بِمِنًى، فَقَالَ: هَلْ سَمِعْتَ، ، بِمُحَمَّدٍ (١) صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، وَآمَنْتُ (٢) فَاهْتَدَيْتُ بِهِ، قَالَ: " فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Dawud bin Abi Asim Thaqafi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the prayer in Mina. He replied: Have you heard the name of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? I said, Yes! I have believed in him and have come to the right path. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Then he used to pray two rak'ahs in Mina.
