حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَبِعْ (١) أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ، وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْذَنَ لَهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "None of you should sell over the sale of his brother, nor should he send a marriage proposal over the proposal of his brother, unless he is granted permission."
