Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Fever is from the heat of Hell, so cool it with water."
