Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him), most likely on the authority of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) to stay in Makkah during the days of Mina in order to carry out the service of providing water to the pilgrims, so the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) granted him permission.
