Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا أَحَدُكُمْ قَالَ لِأَخِيهِ: يَا كَافِرُ، فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِهَا أَحَدُهُمَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When any one of you calls his brother 'O disbeliever,' then surely one of them returns as a disbeliever."
