حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّيْنِ زَنَيَا، فَأُتِيَ بِهِمَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، "، ، فَأَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِمَا "، قَالَ: فَرَأَيْتُ الرَّجُلَ يَقِيهَا بِنَفْسِهِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once a Jewish man and woman committed adultery, and the people brought them to the service of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). At the command of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), both of them were stoned. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that he saw that Jewish man bending over the woman to shield her from the stones.
