حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ غَزْوٍ أَوْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ فَعَلَا فَدْفَدًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَوْ شَرَفًا، قَالَ: " اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ (١) وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ، سَاجِدُونَ عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا (٢) حَامِدُونَ، صَدَقَ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would return from Hajj, Jihad, or Umrah, he would recite this supplication upon ascending any elevated ground: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. We are returning in repentance, in prostration, in worship, and in praise of our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and defeated all the armies alone.
