Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، أَخْبَرَنَا (١) عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: " كُنَّا فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَنَامُ فِي، ، الْمَسْجِدِ نَقِيلُ فِيهِ، وَنَحْنُ شَبَابٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed era of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), we used to lie down and sleep in the mosque for a midday nap, and at that time we were young men.
