Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ: " لَا آكُلُهُ، وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about the lizard. He (peace be upon him) said: "I neither eat it nor do I declare it unlawful."
