English translation

This prophetic saying is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): It is not permissible to envy (feel jealous of) anyone except two persons: one is the person whom Allah has granted the wealth of the Qur'an and he remains engaged in its recitation day and night; and the other is the person whom Allah has granted wealth and property and he is made to spend it in the way of truth.
