حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، (٢) عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ تَلَقِّي السِّلَعِ (٣) حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا الْأَسْوَاقُ "، وَنَهَى عَنِ النَّجْشِ، وَقَالَ: " لَا يَبِعْ (٤) بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ "، " وَكَانَ إِذَا عَجَّلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَالْعِشَاءِ " (٥)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade meeting traders before they reach the market and from deceptive sales, and that none of you should sell over the sale of his brother. And when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was in a hurry during travel, he would perform a symbolic joining (jam‘ suri) between Maghrib and Isha prayers.
