Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: " أَنَّ رَجُلًا لَاعَنَ امْرَأَتَهُ، وَانْتَفَى مِنْ وَلَدِهَا فَفَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بَيْنَهُمَا فَأَلْحَقَ (١) الْوَلَدَ بِالْمَرْأَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man invoked li'an against his wife and denied the attribution of her child to himself. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) separated the two and handed the child over to the mother.
