حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،: " أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُضْرَبُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا اشْتَرَوْا (١) طَعَامًا جُزَافًا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ (٢) فِي مَكَانِهِ حَتَّى يُؤْوُوهُ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that in the blessed era of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), people used to be punished for buying grain by estimation and then selling it to someone else on the spot without taking it to their own tent.
