حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا (١) حُصَيْنٌ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ: كَانَ يَلْعَقُ أَصَابِعَهُ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِكَ تَكُونُ الْبَرَكَةُ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to lick his fingers after eating and would say that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) has said: "You do not know in which part of your food there is blessing."
