حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ، وَبَرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ، وَقَدْ أَحْرَمْتُ بِالْحَجِّ؟ قَالَ: وَمَا بَأْسُ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ نَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ، قَالَ: قَدْ (١) رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَحْرَمَ بِالْحَجِّ، وَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Wabra reports that a man asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "If I have donned the ihram for Hajj, can I perform the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah?" He replied: "What is the harm in that?" The man said: "Actually, Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) forbids this." Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "I saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) that he donned the ihram for Hajj and also performed the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah and performed sa'i between Safa and Marwah."
