Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تُسَافِرُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ، فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not take the Noble Qur'an with you when going on a journey; I fear that it may fall into the hands of the enemy."
