حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ:، ، رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا جَاءَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَصُومَ كُلَّ يَوْمِ أَرْبِعَاءَ، فَأَتَى ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ يَوْمِ أَضْحًى أَوْ فِطْرٍ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: " أَمَرَ اللهُ (١) بِوَفَاءِ النَّذْرِ، وَنَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
Ziyad bin Jubair says that I saw a man come to Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and ask this question: "I have made a vow that I will fast every Wednesday. Now, if Eid al-Adha or Eid al-Fitr falls on a Wednesday, what should I do?" Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "Allah has commanded the fulfillment of vows, and the Prophet (ﷺ) has forbidden us from fasting on the Day of Sacrifice (the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah)."
