Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a Jew passed by the Prophet (ﷺ) while the Prophet (ﷺ) was conversing with his companions (may Allah be pleased with them). The Quraysh said, "O Jew! This person considers himself a Prophet." He said, "I will ask him something that only a Prophet would know." So he came and sat near the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Muhammad (ﷺ)! From what things is man created?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "O Jew! From the semen of the man and the semen of the woman. The man's semen is thick, from which bones and muscles are formed, and the woman's semen is thin, from which flesh and blood are formed." Hearing this, the Jew stood up and said, "The Prophets before you used to say the same."
