Musnad Ahmad Hadith 4412

Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I used to herd the goats of 'Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ayt. One day, the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by me with Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) while escaping from the polytheists, and he said: "O boy! Do you have any milk?" I replied: I am entrusted with them, so I cannot give you any. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Is there any goat among them that a male has not mounted?" I replied: Yes! And I brought such a goat to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) passed his hand over its udder and prayed, so milk descended into it. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) brought a hollow stone from inside, and the Prophet (ﷺ) milked it into that, drank himself, gave Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to drink, and I also drank. Then, addressing the udder, he said: "Shrink back," so the udder shrank back again. After a little while, I came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Teach me this matter as well. The Prophet (ﷺ) passed his hand over my head and prayed for me: "May Allah send His mercy upon you, you are an intelligent boy." I memorized seventy surahs from the blessed mouth of the Prophet (ﷺ) which no one can dispute with me about.
