حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ (١) ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ: عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَتَاهُ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ وَمَعَهُ عَظْمٌ حَائِلٌ، وَبَعْرَةٌ، وَفَحْمَةٌ، فَقَالَ: " لَا تَسْتَنْجِيَنَّ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذَا إِذَا خَرَجْتَ إِلَى الْخَلَاءِ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) returned to them on the night of the jinn, he had with him a bone, black clay, dung, and coal. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When you go to the toilet, do not use any of these things for cleaning yourselves."
