Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ وَالْفَتْحُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ: " سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Surah Nasr was revealed to the Prophet (ﷺ), he began to say frequently: " « سُبْحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ اللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ » " "Glory is to You, O our Lord! And all praise is for You. O Allah! Forgive me, for surely You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Most Merciful."
