Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا يُحْكَمُ بَيْنَ (٢) الْعِبَادِ فِي الدِّمَاءِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to choose the right time to address us for fear of boring us.
