حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرًا مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah that
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say takbeer every time he lowered or raised his head (in prayer), and Abu Bakr and 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) did likewise.
