Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعْنَاهُ، وَقَالَ: فَغَضِبَ وَتَمَعَّرَ، ، وَجْهُهُ، وَقَالَ: " إِنَّمَا أَهْلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمُ الِاخْتِلَافُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) and we passed by an ant colony that had been burnt. The Pruphet (ﷺ) said: “No human should punish with the punishment of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted.”
