حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْأَحْوَصِ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) offered a prayer, and I do not know whether he added something or omitted something, then he said the salam and prostrated twice.
